Just a bunch o' stuff
Being a "newbie" Christian, there are a lot of things I don't know. A fer instance is that Chuck Colson, who did time in prison for his part in Watergate, became a Christian and God used him mightily. He passed away today. I'm kind of interested in knowing more about him because it's good to see how God uses the fallen to accomplish His good works.
And in that, there's hope for me, too!
I had such a blessed day. I got a ton of stuff done around here. The list is long and I laid it out on my Facebook page. I'm too tired to type it again. It was a busy day and I'm sore. It's a good sore though.
As I make the clubhouse turn towards 48, I'm making some new acquaintances. The latest one is named "tendonitis." The doc says it's from being a mechanic all these years. All I know is that my elbows hurt really badly sometimes. Like this sometimes. Icy hot doesn't help.
I had a blessed day. I know I said that before, but I really did and want to give thanks to God for just letting every single thing go right today. I had to empty out my little dump cart so I could fix the tire. I parked it next to my truck. I have an air compressor in the garage and when I moved the compressor to the last flat part of my driveway, the hose just barely reached. I needed to tighten down the valve core on the tire. I have the tool to do this and I actually knew where it was.
I tried to fire up the pressure washer and it wouldn't start. I took the spark plug out and cleaned it up. It was just a little fouled. I had the tools to do this and to remove the plug from the engine. It started right up after cleaning the plug. I had oil for my tractor. That was a good thing. It was a little low. I need to service the tractor. I'll get to it in a couple of weeks.
I've really needed to change a sprinkler head for a few years. I finally did and had all of the parts I needed to make this happen. I have another gusher to change. It's on a 24" riser and it's welded together. I have a cordless grinder that's gonna make short work of that project tomorrow.
No matter the task today, it just went so well. I am so very thankful to the Lord for a wonderful day.
I hope your day was wonderful too.
