Besides this and fixing dinner, absolutely nothing

I woke up with about 23 minutes to take a shower, get ready, and get to church at ten.  I made it.

I'm so pleased I did.  We had a baptism this morning and it's always fun to be a part of that celebration; to see someone make that commitment to follow Christ.  This last year's experiences helped me to understand a lot of what's involved with not just saying that, but doing that.  It would not be right not to take some time and space on the blog today to praise Jesus for transforming my life!  And to give glory and honor to our Heavenly Father who gave grace to a wretch like me!

I worked hard yesterday and have the blisters on my hands to show for it.  Today though, is a day for doing nothing but enjoying the results of a hard day's work yesterday.  There are things that could be done but nothing that needs to be done right now, save for what I've done already today.

So the plan for the rest of the day is, well, REST.

I'm going to throw some country style pork ribs in the dutch oven later but past that, I don't have much planned.  Potato salad may happen, too, but it's too far off to tell. A nap is an absolute.  And it's probably going to happen outside.  Depends on how hot it gets under the apple trees.

Yup, that's it.  Just giving glory to God on His day and resting.  A pretty good way to spend a Sunday, don't you think?
