My life?

I got an interesting e-mail this morning.  A long time ago, I'd set up a profile on MyLife (not to chase singles, BTW).  I came across it and thought it looked like a cool thing to try.  I'd forgotten about it for the longest time.

Anyway, there was an e-mail from them telling me that someone had searched for my name.  Hey, I'm not the only Dale Cooper in the world, but I find it odd that the most searches for my name come from the pacific Northwest.  My mom has cousins in Washington, but I don't know them all that well.  I only met them once and that was just about thirty years ago.

Time flies.

There were two things that piqued my curiosity this morning about the e-mail.  One was a search from Columbus, Ohio.  I have a feeling I know what that's all about.  The second and more intriguing is the new one today from Yachats, Or.  That's pretty close to where I want to be and I'm curious if the Dale Cooper he was looking for was me.

You never know what plans the Lord has in store for you, and chances are this is absolutely nothing, but if the guy wants to leave me a double-wide manufactured home on the Oregon coast, who am I to tell him  no?

By the same token, curiosity killed the cat, so I'm gonna give this one the ol' 24 hour rule.  If I need to pay the membership fee for the month to see who this was, something will let me know.  If not, it's just one of them weird things that happen.

Y'all know how I feel about weird, though.  There's no such thing as coincidence, but in this case I'll make an allowance for the fact that this may have absolutely nothing to do with me.
